I create and maintain this website as I like Forth and the Amiga. I don't get any free stuff. I don't get any residuals or any other financial benefit. I do it out of interest as a hobby. That said...
I personally have paid, used and upgraded AmigaForever for over 10 years. It comes complete with the Amiga ROM's, v. 0.7, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 2.04, 2.05 (Workbench 2.1 uses the 2.0x ROMs), 3.1 and 3.X and pre-installed OS/Workbench (ADF files) v. 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 2.1 and 3.1 images. So pick your workbench and off you go. I have the plus version which, currently, 5th May 2023, is $29.95. Pretty much everything else needs Amiga ROM's. If you have an Amiga, you can find copy the ROM/s.
The last few years, I have also added amikit. It doesn't come with Amiga ROM's but pulls them from my AmigaForever. It is currently 5th May 2023, 29.95 Euro.
WinUAE Designed to run on Windows, ported by Mathias Ortmann and currently developed by Toni Wilen. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
FS-UAE FS-UAE works on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD and OpenBSD. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
PUAE Designed to run on Unix platforms (continuation of the abandoned E-UAE and also a port of WinUAE). Needs the Amiga ROM's.
WinFellow Fellow was released shortly after the first usable release of the Unix Amiga Emulator (UAE). Then ported to WinFellow. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
XFellow XFellow ported to Linux. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
Scripted Amiga Emulator (SAE) designed to run in a modern browser using JavaScript and HTML5. It is also based on WinUAE and was released on 1. September 2012 by Rupert Hausberger. SAE needs a very fast computer to run on.
AmiKit Modern Retro Amiga Experience on PC, macOS & Linux. Includes a ton of add ons, making it a lot more modern. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
Amiberry Amiga Emulator For Raspberry Pi. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
Amibian This is a lightweight full disk image. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
PiMIGA PiMIGA is also a full disk image. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
RetroPie RetroPie allows you to turn your Raspberry Pi, ODroid C1/C2, or PC into a retro-gaming machine. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
Amikit Amiga for the Rasberry Pi Modern Retro Amiga Experience. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
AnUAE4All2 - On PlayStore. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
Uae4arm Uae4arm is the closest thing to WinUae. Needs the Amiga ROM's.
Amiga Forever Essentials for Android installs the original system ROM files to run Amiga OS versions 1.2, 1.3, 2.04, 3.0 and 3.1 in emulated computers. At a $1.99, 5th May 2023, this is the cheapest way to get Amiga ROM's.
